This quilt uses strip piecing to achieve the woven look. You can use a variety of prints or solids to get the look you desire.

FABRICS:
2 yds background fabric
For the woven strips of color you can use as many fabrics as you like (the original pattern used 14 different fabrics--if you choose to use this many fabrics I would get at least 1/2 yd of each fabric. I used 8 different fabrics--I got 1 yd of each and had plenty left over.
1/2 yd binding fabric
Additional supplies:
Sewing machine in good working order with a 1/4" foot (or a way to piece an accurate 1/4" seam)
Rotary cutter and rulers
Neutral color thread for piecing
Pins
Extra sewing machine needles
Any other sewing/quilting supplies you find useful when piecing a quilt
