During this class we will look at various ways to make pinwheels and and learn to use rulers and templates in a new way. It will make your re-think quilts you thought were too difficult to make. Bring some fat quarters and have some fun. Pattern Provided in class.

Prints 12 fat quarters
Background 2 1/2 yards
Border 2 yards
Binding 3/4 yard
From your print fabrics, cut 3 strips that are 2 1/2 inches wide, and 3 strips that are 2 3/4 inches wide.
From your background, cut 3 strips that are 2 1/2 inches wide, 1 strip that is 3 1/2 inches wide, 1 strip that is 4 1/8 inches wide. Cut into 4 1/8 squares.
Sewing machine, including foot pedal
Basic sewing supplies: pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc
Thread: 100% cotton, size 50wt, neutral gray or beige
Rotary cutter (with new blade)
Rotary rulers: 6 x 12, and ( 4 x 8 or 6 1/2 square). Bring Tri-recs ruler if you have it.
