Fall is in the air with leaves falling and pumpkins ripe for the picking. Let's make some pretty placemats to dress up our fall table. You can choose from a pumpkin or a fall leaf pattern (or both) to make a set of placemats to carry you through the season.

The class will teach you to piece a placemat for your table. Fabric requirements listed below are for one (1) placemat. You can choose from a pumpkin or a fall leaf or a mixture of both.
Pumpkin - scraps of orange for pumpkin
(need to be at least 2 ?? x 5 ??)
Background - 1 Fat Quarter
Star Points - Green Fat Quarter
Pumpkin Stem - Scraps of brown
Sides & Binding - ? yard
FALL LEAF SUPPLIES:
Background fabric - 1 Fat Quarter
Border around Block - 1 Fat Quarter (sample shows this in brown)
Leaf - Fall color scraps (need to be at least a 3 1 / 2? square each)
Sashing, Border & Binding - ? yard
Side Rectangles - 1 Fat Quarter
**PATTERNS WILL BE SUPPLIED IN CLASS. Remember fabric requirements above are for only 1 placemat.
Quilting Rulers: Wing Clipper; Tucker Trimmer
BASIC Sewing Supplies: Sewing machine in good working order (remember foot pedal and cord and machine manual if you have one). You will need to know how to achieve an accurate quarter inch seam on your machine.
