With an artistic use of line and color value, this flag appears to be bellowing in the hot summer breeze! This class will instruct you on creating a patriotic art piece using the fusible raw edge applique technique technique. Pattern provided and can be picked up at the quilt shop after purchase of class. There are also kits available.

Pattern available for pick up at 3 Hens and a Chick Quilt Shop after purchase of this class. 15% DISCOUNT ON ALL SUPPLIES PURCHASED FOR CLASS, Kits are available for purchase at 3 Hens and A Chick, Materials you will need: Backing fabric about 22 x 40 inches, Batting, Sharp scissors, (Karen Buckley scissors preferred), Sharpie marker, Steam a seam light 2 (fusible product) 2 1/2 yards x 12 inches, A non-stick applique pressing sheet (if you have one) , Light box (preferred) (Only if you do not have a light box) you will need a 22 x 36in piece of Clear vinyl sheet (available at the shop for students), You are not required to bring your sewing machine to class. BEFORE YOU COME TO CLASS - Only If you do not have a light box, Use a Sharpie marker to trace pattern lines, numbers & letters to clear vinyl sheet. Mark placement" X" on the corner of the pattern. Cover pattern with vinyl overlay. Using a Sharpie Marker, trace the pattern outline and placement Xs on the vinyl. Trace all lines, numbers and letters on your vinyl overlay. Bring this to class. |
