Let's explore curved piecing-- the easier way, using the Quick Curve ruler. Don't be afraid of curves-- The blocks are made oversize and then trimed to size. This design can be made into a pillow, table topper, or a wall hanging.

Supplies:
fat quarter for color 1
a fat quarter for color 2
(fat quarters will make the flower)
1/2 yard for Background
fat quarter for binding
Quick curve ruler
Basic sewing supplies:
sewing machine with a 1/4" piecing foot
rotary cutter and ruler
neutral thread for piecing
marking pen/pencil
General instructions for making an envelope style pillow will be discussed in class.
