2023 0211 Ric Rac Quilt- Instructor- Merri Lynn Voss
Did you grow up with ric rac decorating your clothes? Now you can use curved blocks to make giant ric rac into a quilt. The curved blocks use the Quick Curve Mini Ruler. Simple piecing makes the rows forming the ric rac. Don't be afraid of the curves as the blocks are made oversize and then trimmed to size. The would make a fun baby quilt.

Supplies: Pattern provided by teacher
Requirements:
3/4 yard of 4 colors for the ric rac blocks
2 1/2 yards background (this will also be enough for binding if you desire)
Quik Curve Mini Ruler
25mm (small) rotary cutter - helpful but not necessary
stiletto
general quilting supplies -
rotary cutter, quilting rulers, sewing machine in good working order with a 1/4 " piecing foot
thread for piecing
