2023 0317 - NOW WHAT?! - Class #3 - Quilting with a Ruler - Instructor: Sheliah Mathias
In this class we will cover four different techniques for finishing your quilt top and the choice is yours to take one or all four of the classes. The classes will be taught each of four Fridays in March from 1pm to 3pm. The cost per class will be $25; however, if you sign up for all four classes you will only pay $90. The dates for each technique is listed below.
Class #1 - March 3rd - FREE MOTION QUILTING (you need a quilting foot for your machine)
Class #2 - March 10th - WALKING FOOT QUILTING (you will need a walking foot for your machine)
Class #3 - March 17th - RULER WORK QUILTING (you need a ruler work quilting foot - teacher will provide rulers)
Class #4 - March 24th - BINDING YOUR QUILT (this class will demonstrate different techniques for binding your quilt)

| Requirements: | SUPPLIES: FABRIC: Please bring a 30" x 30" quilt sandwich - which will include top, batting, and backing fabric. For this project solid color quilting fabric works best. SEWING MACHINE FEET: Walking Foot; Free motion foot, Ruler Foot OTHER SUPPLIES: Size 12 wt thread in contrasting colors, Sewing machine needles - Topstitch size 14/90 PRE-CLASS HOMEWORK: Divide your quilt sandwich into 9 equal squares by stitching through all layers. Zigzag around the outer edge of quilt sandwich. |
