Students will work on the Laura Heine Whatevers! pattern of their choice. These patterns are 8" collage blocks that can be featured in a table runner, potholders, tiny quilts, or continue making the designs for a large collage quilt-or-can create "whatever" you want with the finished block.

Requirements: | General Sewing Supplies: Rotary cutter with new blade, small cutting mat, ruler(8" or longer), scissors for cutting pater, and personal sewing items, Optional - a small travel iron and ironing mat. You do not need to bring a sewing machine to class; you will quilt and bind your collage piece at home. Supply List: Laura Heine Whatevers! pattern of your choice, fabric, silicone mat 12" x 12" or larger, Pattern Ease, Steam-A-Seam 2 (9" x 12" sheet), #2 Pencil or SewLine Trio Marking Pencil, tweezers, sharp scissors (I highly suggest a pair of Karen K. Buckley Perfect Scissors, medium or small). Refer to the back of pattern for specific requirements for fabric yardage and other specific supplies for your pattern. |
