2023 0603 Fabulous Flatlock and Pin tuck Placement Instructor: Sheilah Mathias
Serger made placemat - learn flatlock, reverse flatlock and pintuck stitching. Binding is done by sewing machine. The techniques demonstrated are flatlock, ribbon weaving, reverse flatlock, using the 12 wt deco thread, and pintuck stitching. Students must be comfortable with the serger and cutting out the required pieces.

| Requirements: | 80/12 microtex needle, 6 quilting cottons, machine embroidery thread, low loft batting, 3 cones serger thread, 12 wt thread (Spagetti), 2 yds 1/4" ribbon (4 or 5 colors), blount, large eye needle for ribbon weaving 4 thread serger and sewing machine to bind the placement. Homework: Free pattern on "weallsew.com/fabulous-flatlockandpintickplacemat". Download and print. Cut all the pieces required before class. |
