Requirements: | (for intermediate quilters) You can never have too many Christmas quilts! I tweaked the pattern a bit and will show you how to make those changes. You?ll also learn some tricks to make future quilts easier and faster. We?ll also discuss ways to make this design large enough for a bed quilt. Supply list: PATTERN: Winterberry by Erica Arndt (Mandatory) FABRIC REQUIREMENTS (For a quilt 61 by 67 inches): Red 2 3/4 yards Background 3 1/8 yards border and binding 2 yards *I used 3 different red tone-on-tone prints. For the class, I recommend your fabrics be washed and ironed, ready to use. Washing fabric is a personal choice. SUPPLIES: Sewing machine (including foot petal) Basic sewing supplies: pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc Thread: 100% cotton, size 50/3, neutral gray or beige Rotary cutter (with new blade) Rotary mat (preferably 18" x 24"), and rulers: 6" x 18" and a small ruler, such as 6" or 6 1/2" square or 4 " by 8".
