2024 1005 Fall Fun instructor- Merri Lynn Voss
It's time to get our houses ready for the fall holidays. This class will offer 3 projects you can make to set the mood for fall. Make 1, 2 or all 3 - your choice. Pick your fabric and come have some fun.

| Requirements: | Fall Fun Pattern for all 3 projects will be provided by the teacher Turkey: scraps at least 10 x 12 inches or larger for the feathers, 1/2 yd muslin or light fabric for back of feathers, scraps for body, beak, waddle, kerchief, and patch on feathers, and scraps of batting. Leaf pillow: 1/2 yd for background, leaf fabrics- 1/4 yard will be plenty but you could use scraps at least 3" square--at least 20 squares, green fabric for stems- 4- 2 1/2" squares, 2/3 yard for border, and 3/4 yard for envelop back of pillow. Pumpkin Star pillow: fat quarter for pumpkin, 1- 2 1/2" strip for center star, scraps of brown and green for stem and leaf, 1/2 yard background fabric, 3/4 yard for envelope pillow backing, and 1/4 yd for binding. Also needed: Sewing machine, 1/4 " presser foot and thread for piecing, rotary cutter and quilting ruler, and basic sewing supplies. |
