2025 1210 Yellow Brick Road (4 class series) - Instructor: Marcia Carswell
This is a GREAT project for BEGINNERS! Come join our class as we “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”. We promise you won’t end up in OZ but you will have a beautiful quilt top at the end of this journey!
We are offering a 4 class series to teach some basic skills of quilting such as use of a rotary cutter, mat, rulers, cutting, sewing accurate ¼” seams and reading a pattern.
Class fee is for all 4 classes. 1st Class - Dec. 10; 2nd Class - Dec. 17; 3rd class Jan. 7, 2026 and final class is Jan 17th.

SUPPLIES: (15% discount on all class supplies purchased at the quilt shop) PATTERN: THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD QUILT (Available at 3 Hens and a Chick) BASIC SUPPLIES: Sewing machine and instruction manual (remember the foot pedal and cord) Rotary cutter & Rotary cutter ruler (6"x12" is a good size) Scissors, Straight pins, Seam ripper, sewing machine needles Neutral thread FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: Please select Fat Quarters for the size quilt you choose from the back of the pattern. The display at shop uses 12 FQ's (Lap Size 57" x 75") Select coordinating FQ's in equal numbers of Light / Medium / Dark fabrics HOMEWORK: Please press each FQ before 1st class.
