| Requirements: | SUPPLY LIST -Pattern- Lucky Stars by Atkins Designs (available at 3 Hens and a Chick) -Fabric- 1 Fat quarter for EACH block plus one 3 "x 40" strip of background for each 15" block. (Sample shows 12 blocks) OTHER SUPPLIES FOR CLASS Sewing machine with cord, foot pedal and quarter inch foot Rotary cutter Rotary cutter clear plastic ruler at least 12 inches long Neutral thread Seam ripper Scissors Fabric for quilt blocks- PRESSED Pattern We will cut and piece blocks in the first class. You can change the look of this quilt by changing the color of your stars. HOMEWORK Fabric for quilt blocks- PRESSED Determine the color of your blocks. Each fat quarter will make a star and the surrounding strips. Determine background color. Background should contrast with color of stars and be a solid color. Purchase fat quarters for stars and surrounding strips. Press according to pattern Purchase background fabric and press. Bring Lunch |
