2026 0516 Flowers & Butterflies Tablerunner- Instructor Merri Lynn Voss

Bring the outdoors in with this tablerunner of flowers and butterflies.  Scraps of fabric can be used to make these blocks.

Supplies:
Pattern will be provided in class.
For tulips: (3 colors if you want or all 1 color)
        Per Tulip: Fabric for corners- 1/2 yd or scraps to equal 1/2 yd.
                      Colorful Flowers- 1/2 yd. of each fabric if using three colors.
                      Background for flowers (including sashing)- 1/2 yd. or scraps to equal 1/2 yd. for background and 1/4 yd. for sashing
For butterflies: Color fabric for outer triangles- 3/8 yd. or scraps to equal 3/8/yd.
                      Upper part of butterfly- 1/4 yd. or scraps to equal 1/4 yd.
                      Lower part of butterfly- 1/4 yd. or scraps to equal 1/4 yd
                      Background- 3/8 yd. or scraps to equal 1/4 yd.
                      Butterfly body- 1-1/2" x 18" strip

Sewing machine in good working order with 1/4" piecing foot and thread for piecing
Quilting rulers and rotary cutter including Tucker Trimmer ruler if you have it
Marking pens or pencils
Any other quilting supplies you find useful in your quilting
