2026 0522/23 Jelly Roll Bow door hanger Instructor Jasmin MalBoeuf
This oversized quilted bow is fully reversible, quick to sew and endlessly customizable for any special occasion.
Students will learn accuracy in piecing, how to make scrappy without going crazy, quilting by machine and finishing the project.
Bow finishes at about 20" x 26".
We will make the Jelly roll + whole cloth option on the pattern.
Supplies needed:
Big Giant Quilted Bow pattern
Fabric- need for both Side A and B
Side A- 1 yard total (can be scrappy- scraps 4" or larger or FQ or F8ths)
Side B- 1.5 yards fabric
Batting-Crib or twin size or 4 - 12" x 47" pieces of batting (add an extra strip for a stiffer bow)
Quilting spray adhesive(optional)
Machine in good working order with a fresh needle
Topstitch thread to match your fabric
Ruler and rotary cutter
Stripology Ruler XL- (optional/highly recommended)
pins or clips
Basic sewing supplies

| Skill Details: | Adult Advanced Beginner You have some sewing/quilting experience. You can consistently sew a straight line and a 1/4" seam. You have a mastery of your machine including threading, bobbin threading, changing needle, stitch length adjustment and changing out presser feet. You can use a rotary cutter and mat. |
